The FiveStone Group, in partnership with D&A, has restored Old Cloverdale Village, an approximately 11,000-square-foot retail block along East Fairview Avenue in the heart of Montgomery’s most beloved historic neighborhood. The 109-year-old structure, once a defining feature of the district, has been thoughtfully rehabilitated to serve as a vibrant neighborhood retail hub while honoring the architectural character that has long defined Old Cloverdale. Old Cloverdale Village is anchored by celebrated tenant Big Bad Breakfast — the beloved Southern concept from James Beard Foundation Award-winning chef John Currence, which opened in April 2026. In collaboration with the City of Montgomery, the development also includes streetscape improvements with updated lighting, landscaping, and new sidewalks — deepening the project’s contribution to the long-term vitality of one of Alabama’s most cherished urban districts.
